The RS12000 upgrade is the latest addition to the Cummins Onan residential line. Featuring an aesthetically pleasing all-climate enclosure, the RS1200 offers the functionality consumers expect from Cummins, providing seamless power generation in the event of a power outage. The system can power a four-ton air conditioner yet runs at only 64 dBA at seven meters, or about the volume of a vacuum cleaner.  The system can be monitored and adjusted from a controller located inside the home and offers remote monitoring and service checks via the internet, providing an extra level of convenience. Installation and maintenance of the RS12000 is easy and economical as all maintenance points on the unit are accessible without tools. The innovative polypropylene base reduces the need for a concrete slab base and the new service entrance rated transfer switch eliminates the need of a sub-panel, reducing installation costs.
