Reading Electric Learns Best Practices at Generac Dealer Conference
Reading Electric Attends Generac Dealer Conference
Grows Skills and Learns Best Practices
READING, Pennsylvania- February 15, 2013 – READING ELECTRIC recently attended Generac’s sixth annual dealer conference, held January 7 – 9 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Hotel in Orlando, Fla. At the conference, Generac’s president and CEO Aaron Jagdfeld educated dealers on the company’s direction and key initiatives. Russ Minick, executive vice president, residential products, introduced dealers to new programs and tools developed exclusively to help them better serve customers and manage their operations efficiently. Dealers also had the opportunity to meet with key Generac employees and network with other business owners to exchange ideas and best practices.
Per Russ Yerger, Manager at READING ELECTRIC, attending the conference allows us to better serve our customers by staying updated on future products and how they would benefit our customers. It also provides us the opportunity to provide direct feedback to Generac regarding their products. Developing direct relationships with Corporate officers is a rare occurrence in American business but has proven to be a benefit to Reading Electric and our clients.
Begun in 2007, Generac’s dealer conferences provide product and market training, vendor showcases, and new product introductions to Generac dealers. Over 1100 representatives of the more than 4800 Generac dealers attended this year’s four-day conference.
“We appreciate the participation of READING ELECTRIC at this year’s dealer conference” said Ryan Jeske, vice president of sales, Generac. “Our dealers are our brand with our customers—they’re our feet on the street. The dealer conference is just as much an opportunity for us at Generac to learn about our customers and how we can better support our dealers as it is to share information with our dealers. Thanks to dealers like READING ELECTRIC, we’re all going to be better equipped to provide the best backup power solutions to our customers.”
